I say he has no clue. He pulled the 1.5M people figure out of his ass, and that's like in the first paragraph. Either he considered only Porto and it's MUCH less, or he considered the metro area and it's quite more. He says the spot he's staying in is cheap, but he doesn't say where he's staying, so I can't really tell. He is kind of right about the gold businesses though, so good on him. The rest are facts and numbers that everyone knows if they look in the Internet or read a paper, they don't have to "go to Portugal to see how bad things really are".
