Hahaha, excellent! Chivas were ''flying a little too close to the sun'', if you catch my drift...

After the close call we are back against a familiar foe... those pesky Northern Tigers.

Game 1:

Unfortunately after an early lead, Tigres tied it up and near the end Sand buried the winner...

Leg 2

More of the same. Domination by Tigres and Xolos go home and Tigres keeps on. Oh well...

I'll have to scour everywhere to find some cheap but skilled players to try to come back strong next season, which is right around the corner!

Keep an eye on the expiring contracts for next season. Hopefully some gems are available.

Perhaps we should also look for future stars around South America, even Brazil and Argentina. We should ensure the five foreigner spots will one day be occupied by some South/Middle American greats that we got for cheap.

By the way, how's Wallace? In order for him to get a Mexican passport he must spend time in Mexico. If you're going to loan him out, try to loan him out to a Mexican team.

He's still loaned out unfortunately. He was gone to Vasco before I got a chance to check him out for the whole year apparently...

I suppose by scouring it just meant picking up on the players Chivas decided to throw out...

Pretty solid considering they're all free transfers. Not to mention Marco Fabian, another Chivas exile, joined the club at the winter break.

First game of the Clausura:

Not bad for a bunch of misfits and Chivas rejects.

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

I was just looking at Tijuana on Google Earth and it really looks ''Breaking Bad-ass''. ''The Lab'' is right by the American border.

Well, took a bit of a break due to the olympics and overall laziness, but managed to finish the regular season.

Here are the matches:

As you can see, I hit a bit of a rough patch at the end. It didn't help that I had several key injuries. On the bright side, I finally beat Tigres, in the last minute no less. It was pretty cool.

This left the table like this:

Gotta play Santos in the playoffs. Fuuunn...

Alright, so I finally got around to playing the quarterfinal game against Santos...

This team is severely beat up. Missing left starting winger and right winger (Cardenas and Viudes), Jackson Martinez is also banged up but should be coming back, and Marco Fabian is on a couple of days coming back from an injury. I'm also missing the starting RB (Wallace, kid's a stud) and to top if off also the keeper...

Anyway, with that said, this is the result.

Leg number 1:

Fabian comes off the bench to score and dramatically give us the win in the dying minutes! Of course, wouldn't you know... another injury to the back up left winger, Pulido...

Leg 2:

After conceding quickly in the first half, I opted to continue playing safe, cautious counter attack.

Paid off!

Of course, yet another injury... Jesus.

Well, whatever, gotta keep going I guess. Here's the draw for the semis:

Avoided Tigres, so I think we'll be alright.

Semis leg 1:

Wallace does two ******* needless and stupid fouls and gets sent off. I'm forced to play really conservative and had to grind out this game.

Leg 2:

Got embarrassed. Not much more to say.
