There's a new authority in Tijuana. The cartel and Jorge Hank have been dealt with. Los Perros Aztecas have now become known as Los Pollos Hermanos. Rumors in town go around it's a money laundering cover-up, but this Gus Fring sure is a nice guy. Free chicken for everyone on Opening Day, wow! Other rumors in Tijuana go around there was a state of the art meth lab built under the field, hence the new nickname of the stadium: 'The Lab'. But nobody can prove it, right? But who the hell is this new American manager, Walter White? Where did he come from? Let alone this junkie assistant of his, Jesse Pinkman.
Nonetheless there's a buzz going around in Tijuana. It may have something to do with that blue meth that's going around, but don't tell (*psssht* look for some men standing around the refreshment area of 'The Lab').

Hehe, yeah I just watched an episode where it was mentioned.
I'll start playing tonight and give you guys an introduction of the players. Club Tijuana actually has a pretty decent team. Looking forward to see where we can go without a sugar daddy. We possibly have some very challenging and fun tournaments ahead of us with the CONCACAF Champions League and Copa Libertadores.
Los Pollos Hermanos are expected by the media to finish 12th, quite a good indicator upon further reflection on this team. We have some decent veterans that can help us, however:
Jesse tells us this is our biggest talent with a perfect name. (He also has a Mexican passport.)
Now, like it should be, Jesse is somewhat of a liability to us. In the scouting department his analysis aren't too strong and his knowledge of current Tijuana players is LOW. We do have some cash to spend, 4M, so Walter will take matters in his own hands once again. *sigh* The maximum of five foreign players in the primera selection is a bit of a pain in the ass, but Mexico produces good talent. Let's see what's out there. We also have some decent Mexican Americans from California in our youth set-up. Not sure yet what formation I'm going for.
One of our best players, Dayro Moreno, is on loan at Once Caldas for the entire season. It's strange, because we still pay 90% of his salary. How could this have happened under Gus' watch? Some of that blue meth has been spotted in Colombia...
The summer transfer window was over in a heartbeat and I didn't want to rush into any transfers. I did sign one out of contract veteran for a season for depth, but that's it for now. Chivas' youngsters aren't really thrilled by the prospect of Los Pollos for now, but I'm keeping track of a few.
OK, I finally started the season after Euro 2012 distractions. I'll give you guys a good comprehensive update after the Apertura regular season.
I made a beautiful start to the season, and spent many matchdays in the top three (though it was still very close). Unfortunately at the end of the regular season the results started the crumble apart because of injuries (I made the screenshot of the formation at the end of the season). The entire midfield and defense suffered injuries regularly which made it difficult keeping up with the top teams. Our depth is very mediocre. Because I usually stuck with the same eleven players and same replacements, many players who didn't play went to the media and disrupted the locker room harmony... b*tches. I'll work on that in the transfer window.
Fortunately, we did make the Playoffs. There's great parity in the league which makes for a lot of thriller games. The most popular formation for the mediocre teams is a 5-3-2, which is a b*tch to break down... and then they hit you on the counter break.
League Standings:
Apertura Regular Season Top Scorer: Los Pollos star Jose Sand with 14 goals, assisted 7 times by his striking partner Duvier Riascos.
Jose Sand, in the darkness of many injuries our one and only glimmer of hope versus our opponent in the Quarter-Finals of the 2011 Apertura Playoffs: MORELIA.
The 2011 Playoff Match-up with Morelia will be broadcasted LIVE on Club Tijuana TV, sponsored by Los Pollos Hermanos.
JACKSON MARTINEZ on his debut. I subbed him in the game around the 70th minute and he made an instant impact in the first game of the 2012 Clausura.
And look who's pairing up with Neymar in the South American team of the year... Our very own Jose Sand.
We'll play Deportivo Quito from Ecuador in the Preliminary Round of the Copa Libertadores.
Team management and finances are a bit of a mess to be honest. It'll be a major challenge putting this team in a position to win big prizes. It'll be important to set out a strategy (whether we reach an agreement on that is to be seen :P). For example, I tried signing a young defender from Monterrey, Hiram Mier, but our big contract veteran key players prevented me from doing that. We reached the limit on our wage budget. While in most other Succession Games we could have both, we're going to need to make some harsh decisions. Signing Mexico's biggest talents will cost a lot of money and I think we could only buy one or two per year tops (thank the Lord if he drops some in our youth system).
