We'd call them rissoles. Only call them burgers if they're eaten as a Hamburger, and even then we're referring to the whole thing, bread and all.
We'd say burger patty or rissole for the meat part.
Looks bad, but rissoles and baked potatoes is a great easy homely meal. Often do it with mash and onion gravy too. Love experimenting with rissoles. I made some awesome honey mustard ones a month or so ago.
Yeah, I didn't know what to call them in English, and I remember I've seen them called burgers on some menus, when they are served like this. In Finnish we just simply call them minced meat "steaks".
Mayo is ******* disgusting and you are a horrible person.
Balsamic Vinegar is awesome though. Joe introduced me to the wonderful world of just buying the pure balsamic vinegar on my salad instead of using the balsamic dressing.
Mayo is great but you yanks wouldn't understand this. I even like absolutely filthy kebab shop mayo.
But better than Balsamic vinegar is Balsamic syrup. I smear that **** on like ketchup!

I think the term is "cube steak"? I've never seen a burger off a bun nor heard a term for it. Beef patty? I'm fine with hamburger.
Alex I think I'm gonna make your Thai yellow curry this week.
Also, I was wondering if you had any instructions for making things like tacos and enchiladas and other stuff like that, because I remember you saying how bad you thought the dinner kits were, and so many people I know use the dinner kits so I would love to be able to impress them by making far better Tex Mex from scratch?
That's alright I'm not so much looking for authentically Mexican, more the kind of psuedo Tex Mex those dinner kit companies sell but better and with fresh ingredients.
