            I'm going mad trying to fix the stamina for custom tournament mode
            I tried and edit the following lines but I can't find a balance to have players tired but not too much tired. Custom tournament plays a fixture every 4-5 days so I thought It would work setting 75 to the first day and 5 to day 2 and 3 so to get around 90% of stamina recovered (may less even better) for day 4. Then I set 60 to day 8 so that if they get cumulative tiredness would anyway partially recover. But didn't work. Does every fixture reset the table or is it cumulative?

            Other possibility I would like to test is to make a custom tournament with fixtures every week or 2 weeks, but I don't know whereto do it without risking to mess everything up

              Are default stamina levels so messed up that they need changing? Game every 4-5 days and players should be well-rested.

                it's just that I reduced the stamina values in my db because I like the players tired at the end of the match also if coming from the substitutes/reserves and didn't play previous games, which doesn't happen with the default stamina.
                Also i like to play friendly match and want player tired and not well rested at minute 90th (as it happens with the default values). So now I need to make a fix for my career/tournaments. I manage to fix this for career last year but didn't try tournaments, this year i only tried stamina in tournaments and I can't figure out the solution, as after 3 matches they are completely exhausted

                  Oh okay, I thought you were saying the problem is players are too well-rested after 4-5 days off, which of course they should be well-rested.

                    I think I have found a solution: I didn't consider that stamina was already reduced in my db; so now I set day 1 to 100 and day 2 to 70, day 3 to 60 day 4,5,6, 7 to 30 now they are almost rested after 4 days slightly less rested for the following fixture. And that's what I wanted.

                    Now I have an opposite issue: I'm trying to do the same edits for the champions league (mod included in the moddingway).
                    Now champions league matches have a real calendar, so fixtures any 2 weeks.
                    I can't find a way to have the players tired after 2 weeks.
                    I tried to add TOURNAMENT_BASE_DAY_11 to 15 but have no effect.
                    It looks like at day 10 they are completed rested no matter what I try

                        Ok stamina fixed; now I have all other sorts of other problems: it seems everything I edited goes screwed up after playing some games. I edited the db to be harder when attacking; but after a while cpu defending it's once again terrible; i can go past everyone especially in some matches in tournaments; although I reduced attacking values like agility and increased defensive values like marking. It worked fine for a while. Now it doesn't anymore

                        Now I wonder if have a bug or something: for example I have those arrows before a match, next to a player name. I guess they indicate the form. The stange thing is that ALL my players have the same arrow (either up arrow - good form or down arrow - bad form) it never happens that players have mixed arrows. Someone can explain me if this is normal? What your arrows look like?

                        So I wonder if the problem comes from there or it is some cpu scripting that want me to win easily or else.
                        The cpu defense seems so screwed up! They are completely asleep, they don't react to me attacking. Also tried to change the slider setting like width to have a more compact cpu, but nothing happened . Even setting that value to 10 did nothing.

                        Another problem is that the game, while in friendly have a standard slow pace, in tournaments sometimes (I would say almost always) the game pace goes crazy fast. Any way to lower it down?

                        Any advice welcomed

                          Welcome to EA Sports' FIFA game coding!

                          The game has played this way forever. Nobody as been able to locate the codes that control that nonsense. cl codes can dumb down the CPU AI, but they don't eliminate the CPU boost cheats in career/tourney modes.

                          I've come up with my own fixes. I edit player ratings to help nullify the CPU's ability to do damage when it kicks into boost/cheat mode. I also edit my team's formations and create uber-defensive formations that pull all my defenders back into my 18 yard box. More bodies in the box means less chance the CPU can score when it goes into rampage mode like that. Also, switch to Park The Bus tactics and set User line height/length sliders at 0 and your players will come back to help defend.

                            Ok that's a problem but not exactly mine. I can manage defending even when cpu boosts up (I just use classic defending and that helps a lot). My problems are:
                            - the general pace (often accelerated)
                            - ME attacking and the cpu NOT defending; it looks like cpu boosts up sometimes but this year more often boosts down and let you win super easy
                            - Those arrows: why are they all up or all down? I think there's something not working and I'm trying to find out if it is within my game or it is a general problem; Do you guys have those arrows?

                            By the way last year with the "bad" fifa 15 I manage to reduce the first two problems with some db editing, slides, clini ecc... (editing MatchIntensity table it helped for me for example; although most people says it does nothing). Anyway, at least last year reducing the speed and acceleration of the players in the db reduced the gamespeed; this year it looks like it does nothing; even if you set acceleration and speed to -50% when it wants to go fast it goes fast
